Who to see at Island Nutrition

At Island Nutrition is always striving to improve access to high quality Nutritional care and this to this end we each practice within our specialist areas.

 

All of our Dietitians are fully qualified and have a broad range of experience.

 

In order to provide optimal patient care we direct referrals to the most appropriate Dietitian, with the highest level of expertise and experience in their specific practice and interest areas, along with General Dietetics.

 

Patients can be seen in our centrally located clinic, in their own homes, residential/nursing homes, schools or other location

We offer X-PERT Prevention and Management of Diabetes group education. This course is validated and proven through clincal research study. 

In addition the expert Dietitians at Island Nutrition have developed an evidence-based, individualised, 12 week 1:1 Medical Nutrition program including structured education and weekly support clients in achieving control of their condition and improve their health.

We have regular scales, Tanita body analysis scales and wheelchair accessible scales for our clients

 

Island Nutrition is an SHB approved provider for Medical Nutrition.

This means NO COPAYS for clients to see one of our experienced Registered Dietitians!
